Ivy Tea House – Cozy Afternoon & High Tea Spot in Norcross, GA

Update as of April 2021: still love this place! They practice social distancing and are operating under limited hours so you have to reserve afternoon tea in advance. Still worth it. Can't wait for this place to go back to a normal schedule so that I can have afternoon tea during the week as well. ---------- I love this place so much! I am SO glad that there's a local and reasonably priced place that provides afternoon tea and high tea. I really enjoyed their Ivy Cream Afternoon Tea service. All of the savories and sweets are fresh and delicious. I prefer the Afternoon Tea to their High Tea menu but to each their own. My favorite tea is the Luscious London. My favorite savory is their cucumber sandwich (they jazz it up a bit). Their scones are amazing. I just wish there was A LOT of clotted cream available but it's probably good that they limit it too because I would slather it on. This is a perfect place for a baby shower, small bridal shower, or a ladies get together.

It was very difficult to plan an out of state coed baby shower and Tammy, one of the owners, kept giving me assurances it would be perfect.… and it was! Even with a few hiccups along the planning process you promised it would be amazing. Thank you Tammy, for the amazing food, teas, and tea infused cocktails. ( you were right, the mint juleps were amazing!) Your entire team went above and beyond and for that I’m incredibly grateful. Everything was displayed so beautifully and tasted even better! The special touch of including spa tea towers for our vegan guests was incredible customer service and appreciated. I would also love to give an extra huge kudos and thanks to your Mom. Gigi was exceptional and such a delight every moment the evening of our private event, thank you Gigi. We received rave reviews from all in attendance about the entire experience. Tammy, I’m grateful to your dedication and looking forward to seeing you all again for a delicious experience. Your tea house is beautiful and I encourage all to host their events at your facility.

From making the reservation to tea tasting, everything was perfect! Enjoyed a great time with my ladies. Beautiful weather, cozy atmosphere, aroma tea, and delicious food all were superb. I highly recommend coming to Ivy Tea House! It’s located in downtown norcross, parking in the back or on the street, convenient to walk around downtown. Great for family gatherings, ladies gatherings, or date. Service was excellent! Every tea and food were prep in details.

A hidden gem!! I'm sitting here snacking on delicious fruit and scones from the bridal shower that we held here today still in awe at how amazing this event turned out. We were planning my friend's bridal shower and the place we reserved (paid for etc.) called us 2 weeks prior to our event and told us they had scheduled maintenance the weekend we reserved. Of course you know we were stressing as we had people coming from out of town for the event. We called Ivy Tea House on a day they were closed, but they responded and told us they would get back to us. They had space available and could take us. On the day of the event we walked in and were in awe. The place is quaint and cozy! We had half of the shop off to the left and as soon as we walked in we were showered with OUTSTANDING customer service!!! Kat, Nicole and I apologize I forgot the other 2 ladies names but one was the chef(she was so sweet) were great the whole time we were there. They checked on us the whole time made sure our tea pots were filled with our four choices of teas. The tea was great(we had Southern Peach, White Jasmine, Chai, and Lemon Meringue with all the fixings...lol). And the food!! Everything was perfect. The tomato quiche, butter pecan scones and sweet potato bites were my favorites but everyone talked about how good all the food was! I will definitely be back when I'm not hosting a bridal shower so I can relax and take it all in!! Thanks again ladies!!!!!

We had the best experience at Ivy Tea House for my daughter Ivy's 5th birthday party! Service, food, atmosphere, teas, and cake were superb!! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and they were even able to accommodate an activity area for the kids and our surprise guest, Elsa! We highly recommend for your next event or visit! We will be back!

I am so sad that you are only offering catering and private events. Your gluten free low sugar high tea options were extremely delicious. I have NEVER had a gluten free scone as great as yours. The little meatballs and the glass noodles were amazing. The sweet potatoes! I was hoping to bring my mom for her birthday. I will keep checking back.

We booked catering with Ivy Tea House to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. She wanted an afternoon tea party and it was the perfect match! Maureen and her staff worked with me to plan a beautiful and memorable event. We had oodles of compliments and the food was delicious. It was everything my daughter wanted. Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful and made with love! The owner and entire staff are a pleasure to work with and are all very accommodating. The atmosphere and scene are both beautiful. I would have other events here.
